Hi all,

This is the 2.0nFull Install and Patch for the UP 2.0 & 2.0m. The Patch can be installed after 2.0 or 2.0m Patch. The 2.0n Patch includes the bug-fixes of the 2.0m patch and adds new features.
Below is a list of what it fixes:

Here is what was included in 2.0m bug-fix patch and it is now part of the 2.0n patch.

UP 2.0m Client Patch *UPDATED With MDS V 1.12! and the NEW WarBirdsOfPrey Addon* 28/01/2010:

Updates to the MDS V 1.11
Fixes the dual-pylons issue for FW-190G3
Fixes the duplicate loadouts in the QMB for BF-110C4-C4B, DXXI Denmark, DXXI Dutch, DXXI Sarja.
Fixes the "Start -und Notleistung" messages that could change the allied "WEP/Boost" messages to German.
Reverts to Oleg's DM values for the New Slot P-51s, FW-190s and BF-109s, etc.
Updates the HSFX Switch to the latest 4.1 Update.
Removes the New logging feature for the AI side and adds it to the USL_ADDONS.
Adds automatic radiators to the New Slot P-51s and add support for open canopies in UP.
Fixes the non-functional automatic radiators of the SpitMKVIII FB and VIII FB/CW.
Updates the planes_ru.properties, weapons_ru.properties and air.ini and removes orphaned entries.
Updates the all.ini properties and the maps_ru.properties resulting in a more "clean" and usable map entries in the FMB while retaining the compatibility.
Introduces the Wind Fix for the gunners-cockpits by Zephyr.
Updates some "odd" FMs like A-20B, Blenheims, etc.. (soon there will be performance charts for all the planes)
Updates many other Flyables like the Western Front ones by Kwiatek.
Fixes the Spitfire MK14 Griffon Sound issue: Spitfire Mk14 Griffon Soundfix
Updates the QMBProPal with the latest version: Login
Adds the WarBirdsOfPrey addon for use in the WarBirdsOfPrey Dog Fight Servers.
Updates the USL_ADDONS.
Adds a buttons file that contains the old FMs of FW-190A3, P51s. Useful for comparison so everybody can try and compare.
Updates the Display loading screen so now it can be seen on most of the Displays.


UP 2.0n Patch available! 20/02/2010

Here is a brief description of what the 2.0n patch contains:

A much better installer, less prone to errors. It will also check for Administrator rights and will disable any activated addons prior installation.
It upgrades the HSFX switcher to latest 4.11 HSFX.
Updates & fixes to Cannon's BoB (fixed misplaced objects, deleted the duplicate airfield, and other improvements)
Fixed the spawn points in ItalyAfricaGreece map and also used new textures for roads, water, sand, etc.. (It is Really Awesome!) Thanks to boomer
Includes a new On-line version of the Crete map by Viking (lightened for On-line usage) and the usage of much nicer textures for a number of other maps. By Boomer
It adds the new mixx_Zapolare's map by Avia skins and Russian community.
Include's Bender's and Bombsaway awesome texures!
It sorts the map list in a more proper way by KDN.
Further refinement of the Western front planes FMs and updates also some canopies mostly for Spits and Hurries. Thanks to Kwiatek
Now the MDS 1.12 is compatible with the auto radiators of P-51s. By HaDes
Fixes the Yak-3N when selected under French nationality by SAS~Cirx.
It also contains the new H111-6t plane from HSFX and its updates to Beau MKI classes.
It also removes the "light" version of loadout from the Typhoons , by HaDeS
Updates a number of FMs including the Avengers, Beaufighters, A-20B, by Kwiatek.
Adds a wide range of executables to suit any need. The best IMHO is the 512MB executable for client and the 1.2GB for DF server.
The 00_WarBirdsOfPrey addons use the 6DoFTrackIR version of the 512MB executable. If however fo any reason someone doesn't have the memory to use the 512MB executable he can Enable After the 00_WarBirdsOfPrey addons the 6DOF executable that suits his needs, e.g Exe_256MB_6DOF
Updates the USL_ADDONS to use MDS 1.12 and 6DOF_TrackIR 512MB version.

This download is the same for both DF servers and clients. Run the .exe and follow on-screen instructions.

ATTENTION: Maps Fix, 27/02/2010

If you have already downloaded and installed the 2.0n patch up to 27-02-2010 then you need also the following Fix for the 2.0n maps:

It enables the Aleutians map, it fixes also the Spawn points for Zapolare's new map and an issue with Canon's BoB map. Many thanks to Boomer for this valuable fix,

This fix is NOT crt=2 sensitive, so there is no crt=2 incompatibility between those who have installed it and those who have not. However it is Strongly recommended to install this fix. Only the 1st Mirror for the 2.0n patch, the Filefront link has been Updated with this map-fix also. For all the other mirrors and for the Full 2.0n downloads also and the torrent link you need to manually install this small map-fix After you install 2.0n
Select your IL2 installation directory and overwrite files when asked.

UP 2.01 Patch available! 15/4/2010

This is the last and most important patch of the UP 2.0 series as it fixes/tweaks an enormous amount of stuff and moreover adds Unique characteristics and capabilities never known before for the modded versions of IL2 1946, and not only.

I will start first from the main 2 unique characteristics of UP 2.01.
For the first time it adds full support for HSFX by using an independent Switcher and not the JSGME mods enabler. By this you can now enjoy FULL crt=2 compliance with systems running HSFX and also you have the option to install HSFX updates Directly, provided that you have switched version first. In any case i will also provide HSFX updates when they are available to ensure even better support.

The other Unique characteristic of it it is the auto-restore/auto-update possibility!* Yes, you read right! From now on people who may have some damaged installation or anything else can Update their installations by clicking at the Update shortcut on their desktop.

This way we may also make Small Updates Without the need to download them. You only have to click the Ultr@Pack Update and Restore button of UP. Thus the nightmare ends here for people who couldn't install the game right because of few misplaced files and also for squads that now can have all of their members updated!
And last but not least the most advanced installer will be even more fault-proof.

*Now the auto-updater also works for the HSFX installation! A nice feature that we hope all the HSFX and SEOW players will enjoy!. When you click on the UP auto-update icon it automatically deactivates any activated addons in JSGME and switch the version to UP (if HSFX is activated) and then updates also the HSFX if needed.

The characteristics of the tanks, artillery, ground units (armor, rate of fire, velocity, elevation, rounds, range, etc..), Ships(armor, rate of fire, rounds, range, etc..), the toughness of the stationary planes, the explosive range of exploding train wagons.
The behavior of the bombs, torpedoes and rockets in game.
All the Japanese bombs reverted to stock exploding range power.
The majority of the Allied and Axis aircraft weapons are reverted to stock values (with the exception of the tracers-contrails where applicable).

With "*" are marked the planes which Flight Model is created/fixed/tweaked by Kwiatek or any other person from our community. With "~" are marked the planes which FM is created by other individuals and members of other modding communities: "SAS, HSFX, aaa, C6, etc..."

This Second HotFix Includes the first HotFix and makes the following changes:
  • Adds the Netcode fix.
  • Updates to last MDS 1.13 Final.
  • Updates WoP addon to MDS 1.13 Final.
  • Makes Corrections to plane_ru and weapons_ru.properties.
  • Further tweaks the FM for all the New Slot Bf-110s, and for few Bf-109s.
  • Corrects the gunner's window bug for Ju88.
  • Fixes the repeating fuel warning error in BF-109E3 in the DF Server.

For the DF server, first install the client patch over your existing 2.0n serer folder, then install the DF Server patch over that (link given below).
Note: rather than publish a self contained DF server patch we opted to utilize the client patch to conserve bandwidth. Thus the DF server installer is only a couple megabytes instead of 700+ MB.

Kwiatek: One of the most (if not THE most) hard-working people I've ever met, He has created, corrected and tested dozens of FMs. His FMs are adorable even by people who really know(can't say more ) about IL2's FM engine. He is the non-stop "heart-beat" of UP's Flight Models. His knowledge in the FM area is unique.
RaDaR: He is an "all around" player. He is literally in every field. From java-compiling to 3d modeling. His ability to track so many things simultaneously is one of his 2 unique characteristics. The other is to be such a great fellow.
Emil: He is the team's "cold blood". He can act wise when others are "too hot-headed" to do so. e is also an energetic and organized person.
Boomer: His knowledge about maps and missions is simply second to none He is responsible for UP's maps. Without his effort UP would be much poorer and less "shiny".
KDN: Well, if anything needs "tidying up" he is the guy! He is a perfectionist by nature and is a key-value that every team needs. He has not only "tidied-up" all of UP Menus but he also makes the comparative performance charts for all the flyables in UP.
Stratodog: He is our second fellow after Kwiatek that sweats in the FM field. But how could it be otherwise since he is a pilot that has actually flown a real P-51! Moreover he is a great database for WWII "birds" having a deep knowledge in many fields.
Gryphon: The third guy that sweats for the FMs by testing them. He also makes performance charts along with KDN. Endless hours of work.
WildWillie: His help in the DF servers field is of great importance. Endless hours of working and testing also.
AJD-NZ: He is not only our "mission-guy" here but a great asset having knowledge (and wisdom) in many fields.
Wimbly: He has a great knowledge of military things and especially in ammunition. He also has a great knowledge of WWII.
iain 51: He also has a great knowledge of planes, he is a WWII enthusiast and also a living database.
Lazarus: The leader of the largest On-Line Competition in IL2. His support was/is crucial. He trusted us and made the decision to make UP the defaut addons-package for the 1.200 virtual pilots of USLG. We hope he didn't regret it,
F-16_Petter He is the guy who helps us not only with the hosting of UP patches but also with his valuable observations. He also has a great know-how in building missions.
viking4570: He is a maps-gury along with Boomer. His maps are also awesome,

I also want also the rest of our team that participated. Most of them are quite busy and therefore they couldn't get involved more.
They also deserve a big thanks for being a part of our friendly team.

I am such a blessed man to have such great people like those above for friends. This is my greatest accomplishment, and I mean it.
